“Weathercock”

Woodworking crafts

Continuing with family traditions dating back to the 19th century, the artisan chose the direction of art. For many years cultivating traditional crafts, the craftsman can offer not only interesting and engaging education, but also his services in various projects.

The purpose of the educational program

To introduce the history, significance and production of weathercocks. To preserve and foster family and national traditions by passing them on to other people.

Activities: During the education, the craftsman will tell you the story of the weathercocks: where they came from, why and how they were used. You will paint them after the weathercocks are cut. This stage requires patience and diligence, but the results are always joyful and delightful. You will take the finished product home.

Duration of education: Two-day educations are also organized, as it takes a lot of time to make weathercocks from the beginning.
