RECREATION for guests and a small business, hobby and lifestyle for the owners of the campsite. The campsite is located in northern Lithuania, in a homestead on the outskirts of the quiet village Pajiešmeniai, 1.2 km from the Via Baltica road (E67, A10) - the road “Kaunas – Riga – Tallinn”.
The campsite has 20 places. Amenities: electricity, water, toilets, showers, washing machine, possibility to empty / wash camper's toilet / waste water, internet WiFi. There are places for tents in the garden; campers stay in the meadow and when it's wet - in the yard on asphalt. There is a book exchange library, an educational corner for small children (supervised by parents) and a family museum is being set up.
Part of the campsite - 700 m from the main homestead - the family is creating an eco-homestead near the forest, where guests enjoy an ancient 2- seater steam bath and a small garden. There guests can manage to discover wild eatable and cultivated plants to diversify or at least decorate their meals. Guests prepare their own meals with own tools, there are sinks and warm water for washing dishes in the campsite.
The hosts and guests live in the spirit of slow tourism. The campsite is nature-friendly, from 2018 receives the International Green Key Award. Guests are accepted with pets! And bird watchers will definitely have something to do here!
The hostess - a tourist guide, in Lithuanian, English, Russian offers a trip in Lithuanian karst region (Pasvalys and Biržai districts) and educational "Journey to the Witch's Tea Country" and others. The hostess also treats her guests to her own tea.
Pajiešmeniai village is famous for it's three sleeping fountains, many cultural events, friendly people, beautiful streets, strong rural community, cozy little park ... Rural community rents 2 boats and 2 pedal boats, renovated the beach in autumn 2019 (200 m from the campsite): swings, volleyball court ... In the village near the cultural center (400 m from the campsite) there is a basketball / football field and a children's playground. Rauboniai water mill - wool carding ("Wool road") 2 km, Rauboniai Zoo and Dino parks 2 km, Azuolpamusė mound 2 km, Pasvalys 7 km, Birzai 20 km, Kaunas 150 km, Vilnius 200 km, nearest - Riga Airport 110 km. Bus stop on Via Baltica (E67, A10) - "Ąžuolpamūšė" (1.3 km from the campsite).
