The artisan has been cherishing the national heritage since 1980. For the past 10 years, she has been creating gardens and straw Christmas tree toys, weaving Easter palms. The artisan certified her works in 2012. Many of her hand-woven gardens now hang in well-known places, restaurants.
The purpose of the educational program
To teach the participants of education the weaving secrets, to reveal the authenticity and fun of the craft. To give each participant the opportunity to try the craft with their own hands.
Activities: Participants are invited to agree in advance whether they would like to bind the garden or make straw toys for Christmas tree. Necessary materials will be provided by the craftswoman - straw, thread, needles, scissors. Upon arrival, you will find ready-made tools. The craftswoman will introduce you to the history of the craft and the activities you will be engaged at the beginning of your education. Each of you will try to make your own piece of work, and the artisan will help those who need assistance.
It is possible to order a hen party program when a garden is woven for a bride.
Duration of education: 3 hours.
Number of participants: 10 – 20 persons.
Place: At your agreed place with the craftsman.
Seasonality: in autumn and winter.
Languages: Lithuanian.
