“Quilts and making Dolls”

Crafts of textile processing

Craftswoman, presented as an artist, quilter, teacher - expert, has been educating people for many years, cherishing the traditional Lithuanian heritage. The master’s work in the history of Lithuanian quilts is very deep. It started back in 1987 when a craftswoman who came to work in the school started to lead a handicraft circle. At that time, there were few means available, so she piled up pieces of cloth and started quilting with children. Anyone who has sewn at least once knows how much diligence, patience, work and time it takes to sew hundreds of tiny pieces into one cohesive embroidery so that it becomes unique.
