Craftsman is a certified folk artist who not only makes original woodwork, but has also established a Craft Centre, where he conducts educational activities for those interested in the secrets of wood carving. The main activities of the folk artist are the promotion of ethno-culture, the dissemination of ancient customs, the revival of traditions and the transfer of the skill of the wood carver to the younger generation.

The purpose of the educational program

To get acquainted with carving, its history, applied techniques, to teach carving.

Activities: During the education you will learn about carving, and various techniques which are used in this craft. Everyone will learn how to carve a bird, which you will decorate with ancient Lithuanian signs (grass-snakes, suns, trees of life, etc.). You will be able to bring home the handicraft you have made. Education can be tailored for bachelorette parties, hen parties or calendar celebrations.

Duration of education: 3 – 4 hours.

Number of participants: 15 – 40 persons.

Place: At your agreed place with the craftsman.

Seasonality: All year round.

Languages: Lithuanian.
