CURRENCY, EMERGENCY NUMBERS
Lithuania is one of the nineteen countries using the euro.
Many banks and post offices are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Keep in mind that banks are working longer in the major supermarkets.
If you have a foreign bank card with the Cirrus logo, you can get cash from an ATM. Also check the card and ATM for the EDC, EC and Maestro logos. Of course, you can also use most credit cards to get cash from an ATM. Even in the smallest villages you can find these machines, which usually operate 24 hours a day.
You can find money exchange services at banks and currency exchange offices throughout Lithuania.
